Synopsis:

Minh and his family are among the tens and thousands of Indo Chinese refugees who have settled in Australia over the last few years. After they left Vietnam one year ago, the family spent six months in a Malaysian refugee camp and then five months in an Australian migrant hostel. As the film begins they have just moved into a house on their own, in industrial Sydney. (NFSA, http://www.nfsa.gov.au/)
